What’s been happening:

I retired in December, 2008, from a career in the textile industry, most recently as President and founder of FreeSpirit fabrics, a division of Fabric Traditions, New York, NY. My area of concentration has been quilting and the FreeSpirit fabric designs encompassed a total life style approach from clothing, children's wear, home decor and quilting. In January 2007, FreeSpirit was purchased by Westminster Fibers, a division of Coats & Clark International and it continues, much the same, under the FreeSpirit label. For eight years, I had my own TV show, Sew Creative, broadcast on Public television. I keep myself busy with some consulting, volunteer work, museum board participation and travel. I have been married to my husband Dan for 36 years and have two sons, Andrew, 33 and Matthew, 30.
